United Football League signs with local marketing firm


PUNTA GORDA, Fla. - The United Football League has signed a multi-year licensing agreement with local professional marketing firm Clark and Christopher Creative Marketing to handle its B2C consumer promotions.

The nation's newest professional sports league is preparing for its second season with teams in Orlando, Hartford, Las Vegas, Omaha and Sacramento. Bill Uglow, senior vice president of Consumer Products and Licensing for the UFL, said they chose Clark and Christopher Creative Marketing for its demonstrated expertise in multiple mediums and markets throughout the country.

"The UFL is an innovator, sort of a business incubator, within pro sports," Uglow states. "During our first phone conversation it quickly became clear that Clark and Christopher Creative Marketing really understood what we were trying to do and had the expertise to help achieve our growth goals."

Clark and Christopher Creative Marketing has signed a 3-year licensing agreement with the UFL to develop innovative consumer promotions designed to generate revenue and increased awareness for both the UFL and its corporate partners in each of the five markets the league serves.

Clark and Christopher Creative Marketing was referred to the United Football League through one of its current clients, Harley Davidson of Sacramento, while Uglow was on the hunt for potential corporate partnerships.
